| David "whammy" Womack | |||||||||||||||||||||
| David "whammy" Womack, born January 15, 1962 in Coronado California, credits his mom for his musical talent. David started playing percussion at age 9, joining the largest drum corps in the United States; the Patriots. Marching in parades from Canada to Florida, the Patriots, led by Colonel Sam Evans of the United States Army Band, gave David his first taste of playing for crowds. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| David's
parents gave him a drum set for Christmas when he was
13. The next summer, he had organized a band and
was playing in the neighborhood. With many years of
private lessons, jazz and high school band under his
belt, he moved on to the Austin club curcuit. Performing for years in such bands as Adrenaline, Ontourage, and Supply & Demand, the constant 4 or 5 night a week routine helped Whammy to hone his craft as a drummer and singer. David joined the Daddios in November 1988 and has loved playing and singing with these seasoned veterans ever since. |

| A lot of the Daddios'
recent success can be attributed to Christian
